Lunch & Learn: Hanover FinCEN and The New Reporting Rule
FinCEN’s new AML reporting rule is now in effect. Learn how it affects non financed real estate transactions in Hanover and beyond.
Join us at our Hanover, PA office for an informative Lunch and Learn covering the FinCEN Anti Money Laundering reporting rule, effective March 1, 2026.
Issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, this nationwide rule requires certain professionals involved in real estate closings and settlements to report specific non financed transfers of residential real estate involving legal entities or trusts.
The definition of residential property is broader than many expect and may include vacant land and certain commercial properties. In addition, non financed transactions include far more than traditional cash purchases.
This session is designed to help real estate professionals in the Hanover and surrounding Pennsylvania markets understand how the rule applies in practice, what transactions may be impacted, and how to navigate compliance with confidence.
